Munich Neocon

Workshops aEEG and NIRS

Invitation

Many of us started working with the neuromonitor amplitude-integrated EEG (aEEG) in Neonatology, because we saw a chance to improve the neurodevelopmental outcome of our small patients. Once you start being interested in the field, you soon find out, that there is much more we could do, but it is rather a real challenge in the daily routine of work, than just a single approach. In addition, especially with challenging hemodynamic situations, near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) also has a great value and potential to improve outcome and individual care.

This conference is set to offer a comprehensive workshop for starters as well as already experienced users to learn on both methods – aEEG and NIRS. The faculty is assembled of experts in the field, giving you a unique chance to learn from the basis of a large experience. Besides the focus on the field of Neonatology, we also try to give an insight on the potential benefits for pediatric intensive care medicine.

It would be my pleasure to welcome you to our international workshop in Munich, Germany, to join in the efforts to improve our daily routine in regards of neuromonitoring and I am totally convinced, that this will be a unique and rich learning experience for us all.

I am looking forward to meet you in Munich!
